Chamois
GSG owns its own chamois company in Italy . They make a variety of different pads. We have decided to offer the “Distance Gel” pad for men and the “Ergonomic Gel” pad for women.
The Distance Gel Chamois features:
-a combination of high density foam and Gel ensures comfort in the saddle after hours of riding. The silicone gel is perforated, non-toxic, long lasting, bi-elastic with good shock absorption properties and is resistant to very high temperatures. The foam used is 120kg/m3 High Density Foam.
-4-way stretch so the padding moves with you and not against you.
-seamless to cut down on chafing issues.
- Perforations, microfiber materials and coolmax for added breathability
-High quality materials to ensure a soft and comfortable chamois that will wear well.
-Anatomic shape to ensure protection to the ischiatic bones and the perineal area.
The Women's Ergonomic Gel Chamois features:
-Anatomically shaped for a woman

We don't think you will be disappointed with the Distance Gel or the Women's Ergonomic Gel chamois choices. We do have samples of other pads made by GSG if you would like to see them.
Children's shorts come with a cheaper chamois.
Short Sleeve and Sleeveless Jersey : Ibisco Fabric
This fabric is a 62% Polyester/Polyamide Blend / 38% Elastane (which gives the fabric added elasticity). Polyamide is on the inside of the jersey next to the body to help with wicking, while the polyester on the outside of the jersey is for the printing/sublimation. This ensures that the logos will be crisp and the colors vibrant. This technical fabric is soft, lightweight, and has excellent wicking properties (it is treated with Interpower which promotes wicking for rapid drying). It has multi-directional stretch and a high UV sun protectant factor. Features either a standard short zipper, 40cm invisible zipper, and a regular full zipper. We do not suggest using invisible zippers as they can be fragile and difficult to pull up and down with one hand (fabric gets easily caught). All jerseys come with 3 open rear pockets.
The Kids Jerseys come with a short zipper and are made from a less expensive polyester fabric.

“Dolomiti” Long Sleeve Jerseys: Dolamite Fabric
Long Sleeve Jerseys are available in the Dolomiti Bi-Elastic fabric is a 4-way stretch material that is very soft and elastic, and also very breathable.
Jerseys come with a full front zipper and 3 open rear pockets.
Available in a men's cut or women's cut.

“Super Roubaix ” Knickers and Tights: Super Roubaix Fabric
Super Roubaix is an extremely lightweight and elastic Lycra/Polyamide/Polyester Blended Fleecy fabric that is made in Italy . It is designed for cooler temperatures (40-60 degrees F), but it is neither wind or water resistant.
For knickers and tights you have the option of selecting the same cut (“U” Panel, “T” Panel or diagonal) as on your shorts/bib shorts.
Knicker and Tights without braces/bib are available in women's cut only. Bib Knickers or Bib Tights are a men's cut, but they can come with either the men's chamois or the women's chamois.

“Windtex Sonic” Bib Tights: Windtex Sonic Fabric
Windtex's Sonic Windproof fabric is a new softshell fabric that is soft and elastic. It is used for the front of these tights. The back of the tights are made from Super Roubaix.
This adds to the flexibility and breathability of the bib tight. You will find these tights will contour the body without restricting movement.
Tights without braces/bib are available in women's cut only. Bib Tights are a men's cut, but they can come with either the men's chamois or the women's chamois. For Bib Tights and Tights you have the option of selecting the same cut (“U” Panel, “T” Panel or diagonal) as on your shorts/bib shorts.

Shorts, Bib Shorts, Knickers and Bib Knickers: Power Lycra
Our Anatomic Shorts and Bib Shorts are made from two different fabrics.
The printed / Logo part of the shorts are constructed from a 240 gram fabric from Miti called Shield Lycra. This is an 80% Polyester / 20% Power Lycra blend. This particular blend is designed to not only insure vibrant, crisp colors and logos, but also maintain its shape and elasticity as well.
The non-printed color / non-logo part of the shorts is constructed from a 210 gram Power Lycra (20%) / Polyamide (80%) Italian made fabric that has been dyed. We offer 8 stock colors: Red, Denim Blue, Royal Blue, Gray Iron, Light Blue, Black, Marine Blue and White. This fabric has an extremely high thread count per inch which makes it a hard wearing fabric yet gives great support and maintains its elasticity. If your team/club's main color is something other than one of the stock colors, then we can digitally print or sublimate the Shield Fabric to almost any color choice.
The bib part of the shorts and knickers are made from a very soft, lightweight and elastic white mesh fabric that breathes extremely well and will not absorb the sun's rays through your jersey.
There are several design options: “U” Panel, “T” Panel or diagonal. The U and T panel options are the same price. Diagonal is slightly more expensive. To see what these designs look like click here ...>>
Bib Shorts or Bib Knickers are a men's cut, but they can come with either the men's chamois or the women's chamois. Regular shorts can be either men's cut or women's cut.
Fully printed bib shorts and shorts are available and cost an extra $10.
There are two leg gripper options: Internal silicon leg grippers or External silicon leg grippers.

Arm Warmers, Knee Warmers, and Leg Warmers: Newport Lycra
Newport Lycra is an 80% Polyamide / 20% Dupont Lycra blend fabric that is a slightly lighter weight than the Power Lycra used for the shorts and knickers. It has a UV protectant factor. Arm, Knee and Leg Warmers have silicon grippers, are anatomically cut, and the Leg Warmers come with ankle zippers.

Skinsuits: Asteria
The bottoms of the skinsuits are made a from the same combination of 210 gram Power Lycra and 240 gram Lycra/Polyester on the Shorts and Knickers. The upper part of the skinsuit is made from an extremely elastic Polyester/Polyamide blended fabric called Asteria. This Italian made fabric has excellent breathing properties. We can use the Lycra/Polyester on top but it won't breathe and wick as effectively. You have the option to add rear pockets, Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve.
Skinsuits are a men's cut, but they can come with either the men's chamois or the women's chamois.
Fully printed skinsuits are available and cost an extra $10

Pakin “Wind Breaker” Vest & Jacket: Pactin Fabric
The Pakin Polyester fabric is used to make lightweight windproof Jackets and Vests. It is extremely lightweight and windproof, making Pakin Jackets and Vests very packable in rear jersey pockets. No rear pockets. Pakin vest has the option of a mesh rear back.

“Lightweight Windtex” and “Windtex Move” Vest & Jackets: Windtex
GSG works exclusively with Windtex Fabrics made by Vagotex in Italy . We offer two styles: Lightweight Windtex Jacket and Windtex Move Jacket.
The lightweight windtex Jacket is 100% Windtex and is unlined. It is ideal for milder climates or for cyclists who train/ride hard and don't need the warmth of a heavier jacket. It comes with a full front zipper and storm flap, and three rear open pockets and a fourth zippered pocket. Removable sleeves are an option.
The Windtex Move Jacket is a heavier weight jacket that is extremely elastic and has an inside fleece lining. To add to the breathability of the jacket the side panels on the body and arms are made from Super Roubaix fabric. It comes with a full front zipper and storm flap, and three rear open pockets and a fourth zippered pocket. There is an option to have removable sleeves.
Both Jackets are designed to be worn with a single base layer. This helps the jackets function at their best in terms of wicking and keeping the rider dry and comfortable.
The Lightweight Windtex and Move Jacket are available in both men's cut and women's cut.

Washing Guidelines
We recommend washing using mild detergent in cold or warm water on a regular cycle. Avoid washing with garments that have Velcro fasteners. Shorts, Bib Shorts, Lycara Blend Skinsuits, Short Sleeve Jerseys can be machine dried on a warm (not hot) setting. All fleece lined, windproof and waterproof items should be hang dried. You'll find that the synthetic fabrics will dry pretty fast. |
